Established in Autumn of 2005, Himalaya Teahouse is unique to the community of Astoria. With its many varieties of Organic and/or Fair Trade loose teas served in Darjeeling Presses or Japanese Tetsubin (iron) pots, you will enjoy the pleasure of experiencing new flavored teas in a quiet spacious environment or enjoy our Beer Garden in the rear and sit under the cooling shade of the lovely apple tree and grapevines.      Our delicious healthy food introduces an East/West fusion with Tibetan dumplings and Japanese organic noodles. Many items on the menu are now Organic. Himalaya Teahouse is now included in the all-new Greenopia Guide of New York City which reflects our dedication to contributing to a healthy, sustainable life.      Come in and have a look at the beautiful display of Tibetan rugs and singing bowls which are for sale or just hang out and enjoy the serene environment with your book or computer (sorry, no Wi-Fi).      If you’re a group and would like a place to meet, contact us with your requirements and we’ll be able to serve you and up to 20 guests.
